Makeup trends in Nepal right
now are all about balance,
combining modern global
influences with our cultural
richness. We’re seeing a strong
move toward polished, camera
ready looks that still feel
elegant and intentional.
Some of the key trends include
flawless, well prepped skin
with a radiant finish, defined
yet blended contouring,
and structured makeup that
holds up for long events and
photography. Eye makeup
is leaning towards soft glam
and full glam, think warm
browns, bronzes, golds,
and champagne tones with
seamless blending and depth.
For brides especially, bold
eyes paired with balanced lips
remain a top choice. Another
noticeable trend is the return
of statement makeup: defined
brows, lifted lashes, sculpted
cheeks, and bold lip colors like
classic reds, deep nudes, and
berry tones.
My personal style is definitely
on the glam side, and that’s
where I feel most connected
as an artist. I love creating
structured, luxurious glam,
flawless skin, defined eyes,
and sculpted features that look
stunning both in person and on
camera.
My signature touch is precision
and warmth. I focus on
strong base work, seamless
contouring, luminous highlights,
and well-defined eyes using
golden, bronze, and neutral
glam tones. Even when the
look is bold, I ensure it stays
elegant and timeless, never
overpowering the client’s
natural beauty.
For me, glam makeup is about
confidence and presence.
It’s about making someone
feel powerful, elevated, and
unforgettable the moment
they walk into a room. Trends
inspire me, but my goal is
always to create a look that
feels luxurious, flattering, and
uniquely theirs.

Lately, I’ve noticed that clients
in Nepal are gravitating toward
makeup that feels effortless,
softer, more refined, and
intentional. There is a strong
focus on fresh, radiant skin
and looks that appear polished
without feeling heavy. Brides
are choosing soft glam styles
with well prepped skin, natural
brows, subtle contouring, and
balanced eye and lip tones
that enhance features rather
than overpower them. Instead
of heavy layers, the emphasis
is on skin preparation, minimal
base work, and tones that
complement individual features.
Good makeup is when people
notice how beautiful someone
looks, not how much makeup
they are wearing. The goal
is for brides to feel confident,
comfortable, and completely
themselves just elevated. That
is the kind of beauty that never
goes out of style and remains
beautiful both in real life and
in memories. the look elegant,
wearable, and true to the
person.

In recent years, Nepal has
witnessed a fascinating blend
of traditional and modern
makeup styles. One of the
most prominent trends is
the “clean girl” makeup
look, characterized by dewy,
glowing skin and minimalistic
enhancements that highlight
natural beauty. This trend
resonates well with both
everyday wear and bridal looks.
Additionally, there’s a growing
popularity of fusing traditional
South Asian bridal makeup
with contemporary elements,
blending bold eye makeup
and dramatic lashes with soft,
luminous skin.
Personally, I am particularly
fond of the “clean girl” trend
for its simplicity and elegance,
which truly enhances the
wearer’s natural features.

Brides of this generation are
leaning toward a minimalist
aesthetic, seeking a dewy glow
and subtle radiance without
exaggeration. In recent times,
we have been focusing on
clean, simple, yet elegant
looks that align with modern
bridal preferences. Personally,
from the very beginning of
my journey, I have always
gravitated toward understated
elegance, believing that
simplicity enhances a bride’s
natural beauty without
overpowering it.

Lately, bridal makeup in Nepal
is all about minimal, natural,
and dewy looks. Most of my
brides want makeup that feels
like themselves just enhanced.
Lightweight base, soft glow,
natural skin texture, neutral or
earthy eye tones, wispy lashes,
and glossy or blurred lips are
highly preferred. Some brides
love a bold eye, while others
choose very minimal eyes, and
I always feel it depends on
their personality and comfort.
Personally, I love the dewy
and natural glow bridal look.
It looks elegant, timeless, and
photographs beautifully with
traditional outfits without ever
feeling heavy or overdone.
