Winter can be ruthless on the skin, so I like to keep things simple but consistent. I start by double cleansing every evening to keep my skin barrier happy, then layer on The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid serum followed by a richer moisturizer. Hydration is everything this season inside and out, so I make sure to drink plenty of water. And my little winter indulgence? Moisturizing sheet masks four times a week. It’s my favorite ritual to lock in glow when the cold tries to steal it away.

I maintain an elaborate skincare routine throughout the year, with winter bringing hydration to the forefront. With combination skin, I avoid heavy occlusives and increase the frequency of lightweight peptide and ceramide rich moisturizers to strengthen the skin barrier. I slightly reduce retinol use, rely on essence infused sheet masks, and never skip my monthly Hydrafacial or occasional clinic-based skin booster treatments, which provide medical grade exfoliation and deep hydration. I use gentle cleansers, remain consistent with antioxidants, and take extra care of my eyes and lips. SPF is a non-negotiable step every day, and I focus on internal hydration, humidifier use, and quality sleep, because truly healthy, glowing skin always begins from within.

My winter skincare shenanigan is all about indulgent hydration!
When the temperature drops, I treat myself to a luxurious 2 hour HydraFacial at The Beauty Bar, it deeply cleanses, infuses antioxidants, and leaves my skin drenched in glow. At home when I can’t be at Beauty Bar, I keep the glow going with a cozy ritual like a warm towel steam, a honey mask, and my signature ‘moisture sandwich’ which is rose water, my fav serum, and a hydrating cream sealed with my favorite ozone facial oil. It’s my way of bringing a little salon moment into chilly evenings and keeping that radiant, dewy skin alive all winter long.

In winter, my focus is on hydration and repairing the skin barrier. I start with a gentle cleanser, followed by a good moisturizer and sunscreen as daily essentials. At night, I use a hydrating and antioxidant-rich serum to nourish and repair my skin. I also prefer gentle exfoliation every two weeks and a monthly in-clinic treatment to boost results. And, of course, I never forget to stay well-hydrated. These consistent rituals keep my skin soft, healthy, and winter-ready all season long.
